Before your round begins, warm up at the Aldeen Practice Centre, one of the best in the Midwest, with the same type of well-positioned and shaped greens, bent grass fairways, trees, and rough areas as you find on the golf course.

Please Note: Currently mats only, putting/chipping green OPEN, pitching green CLOSED.

  • Sunday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

  • Monday: 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm

  • Tuesday - Saturday: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

may 6 - September 1

  • Sunday: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm

  • Monday: 11:00 am – 9:00 pm

  • Tuesday – Saturday: 7:00 am – 9:00 pm

September 2 - October 31

  • Sunday: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

  • Monday: 12:00 pm– 7:00 pm

November 1 - End of season

  • Daily: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Practice Centre Fees

  • Small Bucket: $10 (45 balls)

  • Medium Bucket: $15 (90 balls)

  • Large Bucket: $20 (135 balls)

The Rockford Park District offers a wide variety of golf instruction for players of any age and ability. All lessons and programs are taught by PGA/LPGA members, PGA/LPGA apprentices, and Rockford Park District certified instructors whose passion is centered on meeting your needs and helping you excel, from adjusting your pitching technique to fitting you for clubs.
